Event Details : Indian cancer society brings “Art for Cancer”.

Indian Cancer Society in association with budding artist Sunando Basu, brings forward the Art for Cancer - a painting exhibition cum sale. Sunando Basu, he is a sensitive soul, trying to express Hope despite pain in his work a young artist from the Bengal School wants to contribute to Indian Cancer Society through his art. Part of his sale proceeds will be donated to the Indian Cancer Society. The theme he has chosen for this exhibition is Confluence – a coming together of many influences in his art.
The Indian Cancer Society, Delhi lives by its Vision: “The Conquest of Cancer by Choice; not Chance”. It is a Vision we live by. All their work be it in awareness building, screening or patient support (adults & children) stems from this thought.
To keep all the programmes running, ICS spends about Rs 80 lakhs per annum. All of this money is raised through public donations or through Events. “Art for Cancer” is one such Event.
