Event Details : ZAZA Home launches Gallery Space with art 'In Ink and Blue' abstracts by Padmini Mongia. In the words of the artist, ‘I work on handmade paper as well as on traditional canvas. The materiality of the paper and the canvas are an important part of my compositions, as are the uses to which I put materials such as ink, dry and wet indigo, and mediums and gels. In many of my works I’ve experimented with brushes not usually associated with painting, such as the loose, almost unformed brushes made of grasses used for whitewashing houses and the brushes used for calligraphy’.
