Quintin discovers his wife’s (Tona) infidelity and abandons her. She reveals that Lencho, their daughter, is the result of her adultery. Embittered, he asks both of them to leave. Many years later, Maria convinces Quintin that she lied about his paternity and tells him to look for his daughter.

Background : The screening of the film is part of the Festival of Films by Spanish Filmmaker Luis Bunuel. Few films by the director will be screened during the month.

He is one of the finest directors in the history of cinema. He was given the Career Golden Line in 1982 by the Venice Film Festival and the FIPRESCI Prize – Honourable mention in 1969 by the Berlin Film Festival. In 1977, he received the National Prize for Arts and Sciences for Fine Arts.
