Event Details : DLF Promenade brings to you a tremendous opportunity to celebrate ‘The World Environment Day’ on June 5th and 6th with lots of fun-filled and eco-friendly activities for both kids and grown-ups.
The following activities have been planned for the two days:
· Music with Eco Trash Band – There will be a workshop on Music created with trash.
· Eco Pledge – Kids & Adults will take an Eco Pledge on how to save the environment.
· Eco Crafts – Kids will learn to make crafts out of trash.
· Eco Market – There will stalls selling Eco friendly products by NGOs.
· Gallery of Amazing pieces of art out of trash – There would display of art work made out of trash by members of DLF Promenade Kids Club
· My Eco Idea Contest- The most innovative and creative idea on how to save the environment will be judged.
· Special Theatre Performance by NGO – The NGO ‘Search Years’ is working in the area providing quality education to inclusive mediums like theatre, music, dance, art, sculpture, pottery etc for the underserved children (primarily children of migrant labour) in Gurgaon.
Here is a chance for us all to come together and join hands to protect environment. ‘Saving Earth’ and ‘Protecting Environment’ are not only the burning issues for International Summits like Copenhagen but have also become part of the dinner table discussions of common man. It is imperative that for us to declare our responsibility to one another, to the greater community of life and to future generations.
Let us all celebrate Environment day with fun and fervour and be part of the following activities!!
