Event Details : 'Paradise' an exhibition of paintings by Simran Khurana.
Simran is a twenty five-year-old whose world is filled with wonders that we seem to forget appreciating: colors, butterflies, squirrels and flowers are just not important in the world of adults. Simran, a Genius artist and fighter, has a keen, thirsty mind that takes from the world that for her is full of wonders. She is someone who through her art has grown not only as a person but as an artist as well.
Paradise is one collection that makes you peep into a young girl’s mind and how there’s untapped talent that needs to be nourished and encouraged. Her collection
is a paradise full of colors and emotions, a paradise which she portrays in her paintings and drawings.
Through her work the world is portrayed as a beautiful paradise, a paradise where happiness is abundant and where everything is possible if the heart sets to get what
it wants.
Simran is a ray of hope for those who believe obstacles are challenges. Diagnosed with hearing disability at the age of almost two, her mother’s love and faith
encouraged her to overcome this label and prove her intelligence.
In her work, Simran brings out her beautiful imagination. Paradise is a work of art, a collection of paintings where the colors drip into our hearts, drives home a strong message, making us empathize with the artist’s thoughts and feelings, compelling us to draw parallels with our life, and compelling us to acknowledge that the world has to bow down to intellect and human spirit
