Event Details : The French Embassy and The Alliance Francaise De Delhi present a piano recital and a cine concert by Marouan Benabdallah.
As heir to the great Hungarian musical tradition, Marouan Benabdallah embodies the new emerging generation of Hungarian pianists. He represents the cultural diversity and opening of Morocco, not to mention his attachment to France and its culture. After his studies in The Béla Bartók Conservatory of Budapest, he followed his training in the famous Franz Liszt Academy during 5 years and then started his international career in 2003. His repertoire leads him from Scarlatti to 20th century composers.
The concert is divided into two parts:
In a first time, Marouan Benabdallah will play by piano Camille de Saint-Saëns’ scores.
In a second time, Marouan Benabdallah will perform a movie concert on the screening of The assassination of the Duke de Guise (1908 / 17min).
