"Walk for Life" by Cansupport for cancer eradication, at Vinay Marg - Shanti Path - Vinay Marg, Chankakyapuri > 9am-11am on 7th February 2010

Time : 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Entry : The registration Fee is Rs. 250 per head (Rs. 100 for students and free for children under 12). You may register as an individual or as part of a group.

Offline Registration : The registration form can also be downloaded from the website and printed and sent along with the registration fee to our office in Sector 12, R.K. Puram.
All walkers and runners who register will get a special kit which will include a T-shirt, a scarf and a cap in an attractive carry bag. We also encourage you to ask for pledges on our behalf. For more information about pledges kindly visit our website.

There will be refreshments and entertainment aplenty on the day. There will also be a prize for the largest group, while those who raise pledges of Rs.50,000/- and above will be eligible to participate in a draw for a free ticket-Delhi to any place in Europe and back-courtesy Etihad Airlines.

Event Details : Annual walk by Cansupport.
The purpose of our annual Walk for Life is to create awareness and concern among the public about cancer which is on the rise in India. It is also about showing solidarity with those affected by cancer and raising funds for CanSupport’s free of charge and much needed services (check our website: www.cansupport.org ).
After two consecutive years of successfully organizing the Walk for Life CanSupport is looking forward to an even bigger and better one this time. We are fortunate that Smt. Gursharan Kaur, wife of the Prime Minister, continues to endorse the Walk and will flag it off once again.
In recognition of the fact that exercise lowers the risk of cancers, such as those of the breast and colon, we have added a run this time which will follow the same route as the Walk (4 kms). Like previous walks, this time too locals and expats, cancer survivors, doctors, corporate groups, club members, school children, diplomats, celebrities and ordinary citizens will all rub shoulders to show they care and to draw attention to the need to face cancer unitedly.
