Event Details : Commotion is for the third consecutive year organising a creative festival for young people in the city. The theme this year is “Step Up 2 Make a Difference” and around this theme, music, dance, poetry, art and drama will be performed by young artists from colleges. A pre-competition will be held in Dilli Haath (INA) on 3 November, 2009 from 4:00pm and onwards and the Grand Finale is in The Amphitheatre, India Habitat Centre on 6 November, 2009 starting at 7:00pm.
 7th November : Youth City Council Inauguration with “STEP UP 2 MAKE A DIFFERENCE”.

Commotion is establishing a Youth City Council in Delhi this year! The council will consist of representatives from different schools in the city and together work to make a difference. On 7 November, the YCC will be inaugurated during a creative evening, where school youth are with dance, music and poetry making their voice heard. Professional artists (both local and international) will be performing during the evening as well.
Commotion is part of a network of organisations working with young people. We work with schools and colleges to make students more socially aware and concerned through value education workshops and creative events. We also empower youth from underprivileged backgrounds through education and training.
