Chanakyapuri means the city of 'Chanakya' which is the name of a third century BC Maurya advisor and prime minister. It is a posh colony and most of the foreign embassies are located here. Many prominent hotels located in Chanakyapuri and vicinity are Hotel Ashok, Hotel Samrat, Maurya Sheraton, Taj Palace, Claridges, Diplomat.

Nehru Park
This park is located in Chanakyapuri. It doesn't have any monument, tomb etc. unlike Lodhi Garden.


Santushti Shopping Arcade - This place is located near Samrat Hotel and Hotel Ashok. It's a very peaceful place with many brand shops offering garments, furniture, cigars, decoratives etc.
