Event Details : Indu Art Theatres & Film Society Stages 'Yeh Hai Delhi Meri Jaan!'.
Bhola lives in Jonpur U.P. And his grand father named Mr. Sher sing was a freedom fighter. He use to get pension from the government as he was a freedom fighter, which get stopped suddenly that’s why Sher sing wrote a letter to the wise president n to convey his request he hand over to Bhola by sending him Delhi. along with the bet before giving letter to wise president he is suppose to go India gate to salute the flame of all freedom fighter. Bhola get down to Delhi railway station but after stepping in Delhi he get conned by some local autorikshaw driver.
While roads of Delhi and the innocence of Bhola would, he is able to reach India gate to salute the flame of Indian freedom fighters and give nice end to his mission? If we see the main motive of the drama is this only that the state like Delhi an innocent human like Bhola will get frustrate while walking on roads ,conned by people and get beaten up by his co-accidental ways but he can not reach his destination. Because Delhi is quite vast as well as fast so it does not have this much time to stop and help out a boy like Bhola. In the respect of innocent an autorikshaw driver took him to mandi house from old Delhi railway station and conned him by Rs.375. Even after telling him the right thing by a man that autorikshaw driver is taking much money then the actual amount he did not listen and gave him the amount asked by the autorikshaw driver because he was thinking it was pretty long distance he covered in between 2 red forts and 3 Yamuna rivers. From here only people rate the level of his innocence besides the clever attitude of autorikshaw driver also.
On the other hand but if we see, the air of Delhi has made clever to each and every individual. Bhola is running on the road of Delhi like a looser. Get beaten and conned by every one still he laughs and make every one smile. In this comedy drama by the name of thought we can easily make out that there is no value of innocence in the state like Delhi.
