• Event Details : Genesis Foundation presents The Annual Street Festival offering Entertainment, Shopping, Street Theatre, Street Food, Music, Films, Photography Contest and more…
• The Genesis Foundation Annual Street Festival, “Chandni Chowk to Gurgaon” is for the purpose of raising funds so that we can ‘Give Life a Chance’.
  
• This two-day event is a celebration of street life, food, entertainment and photography.
  
• The proceeds of this event will go towards saving the lives of three thalassemic children who urgently need bone marrow transplant.
• Photography Contest
• An initiative to encourage young students to make photography a passion, through 'Street Life' as the theme for the contest.
• The winners of the photography contest will be announced at 5pm on April 4 by our three judges: artist Satish Gupta and photographers Pradeep Dasgupta and Haran from Salaam Balaak Trust. The judges’ decision is final.
• Chandni Chowk ka Khana
• Come enjoy mouth-watering, finger-licking foods from Purani Dilli: Stuffed aloo tikki, moong dal chilla, shakarkandi aur kamrakh ki chaat, dahi bhalla, kalmi vada, bedmi poori with aloo ki sabzi, paranthe wali gali ke paranthe, mattar kulcha, shammi kababs, tali hui machhli, chicken fry and much more.
• Finally, finish off your meal with a choice of kulfi faluda, jalebi with rabri, gaajar ka halwa or gulab
• While you enjoy the delicious food, browse through the various street stalls offering: candles & incense sticks, paper products, bangles, bindis, arts & craft, home furnishings, earthenware pots, costume & silver jewellery, shawls & stoles, toys, clothes, mugs, silver artefacts, painted glassware, papier-mâché & interesting household items
• Entertainment
• Throughout the festival watch the magic of the roaming magician and the skills of the juggler. Enjoy the potter’s wheel, face painters, tattoo & mehandiwali, nail art, hair braiding, name beads, puppet shows
• Music
• Revel in old Hindi film music and tap your feet and move to the rhythm of the latest Bollywood tunes with our DJ from “Sound of Music”.
• Street Theatre
• Each evening we bring you street entertainment at 7pm and 8pm. The dances showcase the imagination and dreams of youth; celebrate their love for Bollywood and creative choreography. This entertainment is brought to you by the children of Salaam Baalak Theatre. As there is free seating for these shows, come early and secure your seat.
• Corporate Gurgaon Runs for a Cause on Sunday April 5
  
• Time : Registration for the 10 km run opens at 6:30 am, run starts at 7 am. Register for the 5km run at 7am, run starts at 7.30am.
• Place : Leisure Valley, Sector 29, Gurgaon. The run is being organized by Running and Living and Iamgurgaon.
• You can support our cause by purchasing the Genesis Foundation Running Kit of T-shirt & Cap at Rs. 325- either before the run by contacting Anita at +919999013895 or at the venue. There will also be a donatiion box at the venue if you would like to make a donation. You can also send your donations by cheque or cash to Genesis Foundation, 807 B, Signature Towers, South City I, Gurgaon - 122 002. All donations are exempted under 80 G.
• After the run, Epicentre brings to you a sumptuous all-American breakfast of waffles & pancakes with maple syrup and lots more @Rs. 250+taxes pp. A portion of the revenue of the breakfast will go towards the cause.
