- For Pankaj Saroj art is an expression of creativity filtered through the sieve of personal experiences. The pressure exerted by surroundings and the questions that arise from the same are the inspiration for his creation. Memory is an important aspect of his works as he creates an alternative reality using a complex language of symbols drawn from memory. He uses a linear language where the line-work is intense and personal and represents a state of consciousness. Some of his works make use of gold and silver pigments and focus on birds, bees, flowers etc and the harmony between them.
