• Synopsis : Siddharth - The Prisoner is the story of a famous writer, Siddharth Roy, who has been sent to prison. When he comes out of prison, he writes a new manuscript and hopes to reinstate himself in society with the new book as well as win back his wife, Maya.
• Unfortunately, Siddharth Roy loses the manuscript when his briefcase gets accidentally exchanged with another briefcase at a cyber cafe. Siddharth finds a lot of cash in the briefcase that he picks up by mistake. Meanwhile, the cyber cafe owner, Mohan, is desperately trying to recover the briefcase.
• Siddharth is reunited with his son with the help of a housemaid. He runs into Mohan and they decide to exchange the two briefcases. Siddharth whose hopes go up at the thought of regaining the manuscript plans to run away with his son to another city and start over.
