Event Details : The Department of Sociology, University of Delhi, is hosting an international ethnographic film festival - “Ritual and the Street” is the theme of the festival, with screenings of documentaries on various ethnographic local and cultural settings, discussions and seminars. The festival has 4 different sections :
- A focus on the famous French documentary filmmaker Jean Rouch
- Selection of Brazilian films, in collaboration with the International Ethographic Film Festival of Rio de Janeiro
- A tribute to the distinguished Australian filmmakers Judith and David MacDougall
- An open section, call for entries other than the chosen theme of the festival.
