- Event Details : Roopsi Art Gallery presents 'Panorama of Modern Indian Art' A group show of emerging & established young artists in support of Laksh Foundation.
- The rise of Indian art can be mostly attributed to the Indian Art community, the Collectors, art galleries & the Indian art Institutions, They have not only played a significant role in positioning Indian artists on the world map of art, but also encouraged talented young Artists by promoting their works.
- Over the last few years Roopsi art gallery has been actively participating in raising funds for various social causes & N.G.O.S This exhibition titled “Panorama of Contemporary Indian Art,” is an endeavor of Roopsi art gallery to raise art awareness by exhibiting 50 paintings of 20 renowned ,as well as some upcoming Artists, at the same time has Keeping in mind the present global & domestic economic crisis, the paintings of the young talented artists, on display, are amazingly economically priced.
- The exhibition will raise funds for Laksh an NGO –involved in child literacy and female empowerment in Manger a village in Haryana run by Ila & Shakti Lumba,who while developing their beautiful farm in Manger Valley were distressed by the fact that, despite its proximity to Delhi, Manger village remained backward with an abysmally large number of children out of school and with no respectable employment opportunities for womenfolk. They registered their Foundation in 2006, rented and renovated a large building just outside the village and set up a School for children and a Craft Centre for women.

- Also on display will be 50 Exquisite Original Lithographs dated 1872.
