  • Synopsis : Ashfaque (Ajay Devgan) is a small town who who aspires to become a film star. He joins a street theatre group run by a reformed dacoit Sidhu (Pankaj Kapur). Both of them try to bring public awareness through their street plays. Ashfaque’s struggle pays off and he enter the world of Hindi Movies. He gets a new identity 'Sameer Khan'…. Lady luck favors him and soon he becomes a superstar, one who can enact any role with finesse, get under the skin of any and every character with ease and walk away with audience applause.
  • Amidst all the adulation he loses his real self and love for his wife Sneha ( Vidya Balan ).
  • But then, a shocking incident at a party changes everything and he realizes that he is on the wrong path. He gets caught between his human self on one side and his corrupted superstar image on the other.
  • Now, he must fight his inner devils to bring back the old Ashfaque before it's too late.
