• RAJBIR SINGH: A SHORT BIOGRAPHY
• Rajbir Singh is an industrialist, environmentalist and a photographer. His love for nature and photography has inspired him to look at life through the lens and frame images. He has travelled extensively through the Indian Himalayas and wild life sanctuaries. Search for images has taken him to Uttaranchal, Himachal, Ladakh and parts of Madhya Pradesh. The images are often from places where the air is rare or the ground is covered with snow and glaciers. His photo tours are often at 10000ft-15000ft above sea level.
• Stunning nature images, black & white art photography and impressionist photographs - they make a splendid collection. The rare treat of nature, wild life and impressionist work is put together in a mix of canvas and paper prints. This is, I think, the first time a photographer has ventured to do so many canvas prints to bring out tonal depth in the photographs. His artistic prints are very appreciated and are used by hotel chains and individual homes.
• Having interacted with other photographers of international caliber he has found a style of his own, a unique way of presenting nature's colours, textures and forms. Here is what a leading World class photographer has to say about him: "Rajbir is a keen photographer whom I have seen grow. He has absorbed the finer aspects of photography both technical and creative. I have known him to be a serious fine art photographer who has a lot of potential and promise. One of my favorites of his work remains the 'speaking tree'.
