GUNJAN FOUNDATION
Gunjan Foundation is a registered non governmental organization based in Delhi. Gunjan was founded by Mrs.Sushma Singhvi, with the prime objective of educating the underprivileged and uneducated and improving their living condition through education and awareness.
Gunjan reaches out to people in need and helps to restore their hope for the future. The acquisition of literacy and vocational or any other training, enables people to achieve self respect and self sufficiency. The projects undertaken by Gunjan are all directed towards greater social awareness and prosperity. The H’ble President of India. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has also propogated and laid emphasis on the education and development of the children and the underprivileged.

ONGOING PROJECTS
Vocational Training : Programme “Shiksha Deep”
Gunjan under its welfare activities is involved actively in imparting vocational training to underprivileged women. It has set up a vocational training center at 38/1, Shahpur Jat, New Delhi, where women from surrounding area are trained in various activities( Candle making, envelop making, flower making etc.) which makes them self reliant and gives them livlihood.

BLOOD DONATION CAMPS :
Gunjan aspires to achieve a future where no one in India dies due to deficiency of blood.
With this as a focus area, Gunjan organized its first Blood Donation Camp at I.P.P., Noida on the 18th September,2004 which was a great success. Following which, Gunjan regularly organizes such camps across the NCR Region.

DONATION OF HAND LIMBS :
DONATION OF EQUIPMENTS FOR REHABILITATION:
Gunjan for the last three years donating the equipments for the handicapped to the Safdarjung Hospital. This project is sponsored by HPCL.This year its donating two Mechanical hand Limbs to Rani of Varanasi also.
Awareness and Fund Generating Events:
Gunjan created awareness and generates funds for the needy by way of conducting seminars, plays and other events.
Seminars on thought provoking topics like Mind Pollution, have helped in touching and opening various aspects of the minds of people. Gunjan is going to publish a book on Mind Pollution.
Gunjan Foundation aims to conduct many such events to generate hope for a living, in people who need it,but all with your kind support.!!

IMPORTANT FUTURE GOALS OF GUNJAN ARE :
To conduct various workshops, round the year, for the underprivileged,to give vocational training to children belonging to slum areas.
To publish paper and books for the achievement of the aims and objectives of the Foundation. Gunjan is going to publish a book on Mind Pollution by the end of this year,2007.
Gunjan Foundation and its members have the vision, drive and determination to bring about a change in the society. But to bring this change all the members of the society need to walk arm in arm. We at Gunjan Foundation, look forward to your kind support and encouragement.
