- Event Info : Readings in English and Urdu / Hindi on the rain, monsoon. Poets Jane Bhandari and Sudeep Sen will be reading from some of their work, which features Monsoon as a recurrent theme. Sohail Hashmi presents a range of Urdu/ Hindi poetic texts that examine life around the Monsoon in North India.
- Jane Bhandari : is a writer and painter based in Mumbai, with several volumes
- of poetry to her credit.
- Sohail Hashmi : A scholar of Urdu poetry, Hashmi has conceptualised,
- researched, and written a four part series on the history of Urdu and a five
- part series on the history of Shahjehanabad.
- Sudeep Sen : A poet of international repute, Sen divides his time between
- New Delhi and London.
