  • An established dancer, Nandini received her initial training in Kathak and Bharatanatyam styles of dance before she switched over to learning Odissi under the guidance of Smt Pushali Mukherjee in 1987. From 1989 she came under the tutelage of the Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra under whose watchful eye she mastered the intricacies of this style for over fifteen years and grew to become one of his most prominent disciples.
  • Nandini has over the years presented programmes at all the major dance platforms in India and has travelled extensively abroad representing India at various dance festivals in Germany, Spain, Bangladesh, USA and Canada. As a senior disciple of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra, she has essayed the leading role in many dance dramas choreographed by her Guru. An ‘A’ grade artist of Doordarshan Kendra, she has presented a number of solo and group choreographic works for television and has presented a 36 episode dance teaching lecture module for EMRC as part of the UGC distance learning syllabus on Doordarshan.
  • Besides dance, Nandini is an accomplished choreographer and teacher who has conducted dance workshops and lecture demonstrations in India and in Spain and USA. And apart from dance, she has also acted in a number of feature films and television productions
