  • Teresa Cristina with her group will be presenting a musical evening, Brazil´s national rhythm a traditional samba, dressed up for the XXIst century. Despite having made an impressive debut for the larger audience with a double album in 2002, Teresa Cristina has had a longer history in popular music, mainly by her frequently appearing in Rio's uplifted bohemian Lapa neighbourhood. On her 2004 release “A Vida Me Fez Assim” (Life has made me this way), the singer confirmed the expectations again and even composed a few lovely sambas herself.
  • The voice of Teresa Cristina is unique: right feelings at the right moment, not a superfluous luxury when singing sambas. Having grown accustomed to the stage during her nightclub career, she exudes natural charm and easily captures the hearts of the audience. A discrete choreography highlights her facial expression and illustrates the lyrics. Semente, the accompanying group, provides an impressive instrumental performance without stealing any part of Teresa's evening.
  • Friendliness : that's what prevails when listening to Teresa Cristina, celebrated by Rio´s music critics as the future of samba. She truly represents the complex and lively Carioca music scene, a blend of tradition and modernity that never ceases to please and amaze Brazilians and foreigners alike.
