Banno by Sheetal Gupta
This Shaadi Season, “Banno” Brings the Real Spirit of an Indian Wedding to Life. Singer Sheetal Gupta never ceases to amaze us.
What happens when a song about wedding masti is filmed not on a set, but right in the middle of a real Haldi celebration? You get “Banno” by Sheetal Gupta — a vibrant folk-teasing song that captures the joy, colour, traditions and uninhibited fun of an Indian shaadi, just as they happen.
Shot at a real Haldi ceremony, the video features a real bride and groom, real rituals, real family celebrations and completely spontaneous wedding masti. There is no recreated wedding world here — just the warmth and energy of a celebration in its most authentic form.
With its playful teasing and infectious folk spirit, Banno is a perfect fit for the upcoming shaadi season, celebrating the age-old tradition of wedding banter with warmth, humour and good cheer. Not to hurt any sentiments but to only spread joy.
Banno is sung and co-written by Sheetal Gupta, with Prini Siddhant Madhav as Lyricist, Composer & Music Director, and Niraj Gautam as Video Director. Following her independent music journey after soulful tracks like Fakiri, Sheetal Gupta continues to celebrate authentic expressions and rich cultural storytelling. A song that doesn’t just sing about a wedding — it takes you right into one.
