The authors will be in conversation with Shagun Chowdhary, the first Indian woman to qualify for the Olympic trap shooting event, and Raghav Verma, co-founder Chaayos. The panel will be moderated by Karan Bhardwaj, founder, Born of Web
About the DareDreamers : The corrupting influence of power, when left unchecked, can make even the best of us a monster. High on the arrogance that his job affords him, Rasiq, a young investment banker loses everything he holds dear before he can stop himself. Salvaging only his grit from the wreckage, he bounces back strong with an accident rescue start-up of real-life-superheroes-who-still-gotta-eat. Meet the Daredreamers: Nick: a crazy inventor, Halka: an inhumanly strong human, Arjun: an Olympic-class shooter, Natasha: a Bollywood stunt-double, and Dr. Vyom a medical Sherlock. Their combined strength being greater than the sum of the parts, the Daredreamers work hard to build a viable and innovative business model that gives them a taste of their true purpose of saving lives. About the Authors: The father-son duo of Ravi Sharma and Kartik Sharma are Delhi based authors who are passionate about telling stories that bring laughter and joy to the readers, while being thought provoking. Kartik Sharma is an alum of IIT Delhi (2009) and IIM Ahmedabad (2011). He works as a public health professional. The idea of choices and where they take individuals fascinates him. He finds inspiration in optimism because anyone can be cynical. Ravi ‘Nirmal’ Sharma is an alum of Delhi College of Engineering (1983). He works as a creative conceptualizer, after being a serial entrepreneur for more than two decades. In this book the duo takes up Kartik's investment banking experience and Ravi's entrepreneurial drive to create Rasiq, the amalgamation of Ravi and Kartik.
