An Old World Culture Presentation

Kuchh Afsaney, literally A Few Stories is a collage of four tales of Saadat Hasan Manto – BU, THANDA GOSHT, DHUAN and KAALI SHALWAR, for all four he was summoned - are adapted and dramatized for stage in Hindustani. Interwoven with court proceedings taken from the other writings of Manto, Kuchh Afsaney is a literary treat with aesthetic visual appeal. With wide ranging characters of Saadat Hasan Manto from different classes & castes, Kuchh Afsaney playfully argues the politics of censorship of the creative arts.
