She is the disciple of Guru Pooja Kapoor of Nrityakala School of Dance, Delhi. 


About the Artist : .Akshata Kalloor has been learning Bharatanatyam under Guru Pooja Kapoor since she was very young. She holds a 'Prabhakar' in Bharatanatyam from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She has a professional career in public policy currently working with NIPFP in New Delhi while pursuing her passion of dance along side. She has graduated in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, where she was also a part of the college classical dance society. And has done her masters in financial economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics in Pune.
