Event Description : Symposium 'Beyond The Present'.
‘Beyond The Present’ will bring together eminent film makers, authors, journalists, photographers, musicians, documentary makers and educationists who will speak on their diverse understandings of how their craft and practice is being influenced by the phenomenal amount of changes that our society is experiencing today. The Symposium will reflect on the various contexts – societal, technological, political, cultural and environmental – that are influencing arts and media in the present times, and will try to understand whether the present has the potential to shape the media of the future.
