Event Description : MUSIC : Blues with Kapil Chetri featuring Sujoy

Come experience the musical leanings of Kapil Chetri, a blues musician who is credited to be one of the first sounds in India who deals primarily with Delta Blues and other finger style-plucking, acoustic blues styles. Kapil brings in the raw Mississippi sound to the city’s musical landscape.

He will be featuring Sujoy who grew up listening to blues and rock'n'roll and picked up the guitar when he heard Chuck Berry's music. Over the years his interest in jazz, blues and bluegrass music have led him to concentrate on the acoustic guitar. He currently writes songs and plays guitar for Kolkata quartet 'No Strings Attached'.
