Event Description : TALK "Inclusiveness in Canadian Education" by Dr. Mala V. Thapar. 

The talk covers the urgent need to include people with different cultures, abilities and social strata in the education system aims for equitable distribution of opportunity and addresses the equity issues.  It also aims at doing so in the planning, policy making, execution and assessment stages, by involving strategies that cater to individual and cultural differences

About the Speaker : Dr. Mala V. Thapar, teacher, consultant and workshop facilitator with the Toronto and Simcoe School Boards.  Her work includes meeting staff and students, teaching curriculum incorporating inclusiveness  and planning workshops for people with cognitive impairments and the gifted

  1. Thanks for this great read. Under the Canadian constitution, provincial governments decide what school boards do, how they get their money, and how much local autonomy they have.
