Event Description : ART TALK "Apophenic talks: An enacted conversation at ILF Samanvay 2016"
ILF Samanvay will host an evening where the audience becomes the artist. In enacted conversations with artists Mithu Sen, Amitesh Grover, Arnika Ahldag and Akansha Rastogi, the audience will experience language in various forms- first as make believe and then as the language of association created through keywords.
Apophenic talks: An enacted conversation at ILF Samanvay 2016 is the fourth ‘No Tongues Barred’ (#ntb) conversation. The talk will witness artists address the modern day crisis of attention paucity.
About ILF Samanvay: ILF Samanvay, initiated by the India Habitat Centre, is a one-of-its-kind Indian Languages Festival held annually in New Delhi. The first Samanvay was conceived in 2011 as an annual celebration of writing in Indian languages. The festival has aimed at generating dialogue across Indian languages at various levels and has emerged as the only literature festival dedicated exclusively to Indian languages.
