Upendra Kumar is a well known Hindi poet.   Born into a family of freedom fighters he acquired degrees in Engineering and Law. He is the author of several publications including : “udas paani” , “prem prasang”  and Khushboo Udhaar le aaye”. He is the recipient of several awards including Sahitytik Kriti Sammaan and Sahityakaar

Indira Devi Dhanrajgir  is a well-known poet from Hyderabad.  She is the author of several poetry collections including  The Apostle (1964),  Return Eternity (1964) and Partings in Mimosa (1968). She  served as the President of All India Women's Conference established in Hyderabad in 1926.


Dr. Ganga Prasad Vimal  is a well-known author and poet. He held important positions including as   Director, Central Hindi Directorate  and Professor at Indian Language Centre, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He has written seven poetry collections, four novels and eleven story collections. He has translated five books in English,  around fifteen books from other languages including poems, stories and novels. He  has received several awards

Dr. Vishwanath Tripathi   is a well known Hindi writer and renowned Professor of Hindi at Delhi University. He has around 20 publications to his credit which include novels, memoirs and poetry collections. He has penned a number of unique works that include "Lokwaadi Tulsidas", "Meera Ka Kavya", "Desh ke is Daur Main", "Kuch Kahaniyan Kuch Vichar", "Ped Ka Hath", "Jaisa Kaha Saka" and "Nagatalai Ka Gaon."  Dr. Tripathi has been honoured with Gokul Chandra Shukla critique Award, Ramvilas Sharma Award, Soviet Land Nehru Award, Hindi Academy Literary Award, Moorti Devi Award & Vyas Honour to name a few.

Madan Kashyap has written poems on themes ranging from political history, tribal life, and on  popular themes.  His publications  include: Lekin Udaas hai Prithivi(1992), Neem Roshni Mein(2000),  Kavi Ne Kaha, Lahulohaan Loktantra(2006), Kurooj and Apna hi Desh etc.  He has received Shamsher Sammaan, Banarsi Prasad Bhojpuri Sammaan and Kedarnath Agrawal Samman  for his contributions in the field of literature.  Currently, he is associated with editorials of many journals.



Manager Pandey   is known across the country as a thought-provoking serious critique. Some of his publications are “Shabd aur Karma”, “Desh ki Baat” & “Seevaan ki Kavita”,  etc.  In recognition of his contributions he has been honoured by the Hindi Academy’s Sahityakar Samman, Rashtriya Dinkar Sammaan, Ramchandra Shukla Shodh Sansthaan and  Gokul Chandra Shukla  Puraskaar. During the last few years, he has given a thrust to the debate on Dalit literature and participated in debates on contemporary issues in their current perspective. He has been a Professor of Linguistics in the JNU and also served at Jodhpur University and as Principal in Bareilly College.
