Event Description : Under the Outreach initiative the IGNCA Book Circle has a monthly event held on the fourth Thursday of every month.
This month, due to Dussehra holiday on 22nd October, Book Reading Session will held on fifth Thursday of October, 2015.
Prof. H.S. Shivprakash will read from his latest publication Everyday Yogi (Harper Collins, New Delhi 2014). He is a Professor, Theatre and Performance Studies, JNU, New Delhi. He is author of 9 books of poems, 15 plays and 3 critical works in Kannada. Widely discussed his plays have been performed and translated into several Indian languages and into English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.
Background : IGNCA Book Circle @ Reference Library. Under the Outreach initiative the IGNCA Book Circle has a monthly event held on the fourth Thursday of every month.
Exciting works of fiction, non-fiction and those of academic interest will be showcased through readings, panel discussions and informal conversations. The aim is to tap into the rich intellectual wealth of Delhi and the IGNCA, and bridge the divide between the reader and writer in the wonderful setting on the IGNCA Library.
