Event Description : "Art O Sketchomania" a solo show of Sketches, Paintings and Ceramics by Amrit Khurana.

Amrit’s latest works are a testimony to the fact ‘The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the hearts’. Her art is a beautiful harmony of colours, rhythm of lines and forms. Her sense of composition and colours in the paintings touches the soul and transcends the art aficionados into a world of sublime fantasy. The overflow and mixing of colours in a powerful way creates lasting impact in her paintings.

About the Artist : Amrit Khurana is a young, emerging artist with no formal training in art. Despite her apparent autistic disability, she has had a keen eye of various shapes and images since her formative years as an artist. She is a keen observer and has the ability to capture the myriad expressions of the world and society around her. That is perhaps why most of her works have very dominant facial expressions. She has participated in a 6 group shows one being overseas. Her work can be found in many private collections and has received much acclaim and praise of their strength of expression and the use o warm colour tones. Amrit has Autism.

About the Organization : Pathways School Noida was launched in 2010 under the Pathways umbrella. The school was the first ever IB school in the state of Uttar Pradesh.  The curriculum includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP ), Middle Years Programme (MYP) andDiploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate Organisation of Geneva and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) of the University of Cambridge, England.
