Event Description : CEC Delhi presents a tree walk at Lodhi Gardens. Let’s walk among them and have a closer look to understand about them in a better way.

We all know what importance trees hold in our lives. The most commonly trees found gracing our city’s streets include Gulmohar, Royal Palm, Banyan, Jamun (Indian Blackberry), Shisham (Indian Rosewood) and Peepal (sacred fig). Delhi’s trees especially the ones that break into bright, colourful blooms during various seasons, offer a visual respite to many travellers who set out on its roads everyday in their various vehicles. Delhi’s trees and plants are as much a part of the city’s culture as anything else.
The Lodhi Garden is a favourite with nature and fitness lovers alike for their morning and evening walks. The garden area is a long stretch spiralling through the length of the garden, surrounded by several trees and shrubs. Royal Palm trees are planted in rows in beautiful area of Lodhi Gardens.
