Event Description : "Independent Documentary Practices In South Asia" panel discussion.

Speaking from the vantage point of their own geographical and political positions, documentary practitioners from different regions in South Asia reflect critically on their work and its context.

Panelists : Independent documentary filmmakers- Anand Patwardhan, Mumbai, Dina Hossain, Dhaka, Kesang Tseten, Kathmandu, Nishtha Jain, Mumbai, Saba Dewan, Delhi. Also, Prasanna Vithanage, fiction and non-fiction filmmaker and producer, Colombo & Shuddhabrata, an artist with the Raqs Media Collective
