"#CycleforMSF provides everyone with an opportunity to show solidarity with Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in providing access to healthcare where it is needed the most. Show your support by cycling to save lives, raise funds, and help deliver life-saving medical care by asking friends and family to sponsor you complete this exciting challenge."

#CycleforMSF Centurion Challenge (Adult Category)
The ride itself is a scavenger hunt model for 4 riders accompanied by 2 substitutes in a support vehicle. The challenge will require teams to cumulatively cover 100kms and engage in contests at the checkpoints which will yield points. Prior to event day, these 6 member teams are required to crowd fundraise and raise awareness about MSF via their networks. The crowdfunding structure is incentivised into levels and each level is associated with a points multiplier.

Mission Brain Bucket (10-14yrs)

This is a cross platform model using a cycling mission with a creative art program. Children from across the NCR region come together to learn about MSF and participate in Mission Brain Bucket, a challenge which simulates the steps taken by a doctor going to the field.
At the outset, a pre-event outreach program engages with these groups in their schools to educate them about MSF and also introduce them to #CycleforMSF. At this engagement, the children are also asked to draw a small picture of Dr.Brain Bucket, an everyday doctor who uses his cycle to reach patients without access to healthcare. These pictures are then used to engage these kids in a social media art contest based on likes/shares.

#CycleforMSF Hub

At the venue on the day of the event, there will be a range of fun activities or games and also the Who Cares exhibition to engage participants and supporters.

Background :

From October 2013 to February 2014, Dr. Unni Karunakara, former MSF International President, did a bicycle tour (‘Únnicycles’) under the umbrella of #CycleforMSF in India – with the aim to raise awareness and funds for MSF and “give back to the organization”.

Bicycling is healthy, environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and exists beyond borders and thus matches the identity of MSF.  #CycleforMSF wants to build a strong and diverse community of MSF supporters who participate in the cycling event and also create awareness and help raise funds for MSF. This annual project provides a realistic opportunity to create a sense of camaraderie with MSF and its social mission.
