Event Description : "Crisis And Confluence" Website launch and Talk.
Art And Civil Society.
The launch of the website www.criticalcollective.in marks a collection of recent writing in Indian art. It celebrates artistic achievement even as it reflects on the volatility in times of social crisis, public confluence and response.
At its core is the writer, represented here by Professor Homi Bhabha, (Anne F. Rothenberg Professor of English and American Literature and Language, and the Director of the Humanities Center (at Harvard University), along with Shuddhabrata Sengupta, (artist and writer, and member of Raqs Media Collective) both leading thinkers and commentators of our times.
The talk will be moderated by Gayatri Sinha, founder of the Critical Collective.
