Below mentioned are the profiles of the Bands and Artist performing at the Extreme Metal Night.
Impiety (Blackened Death Metal from Singapore/Australia)
Impiety formed in 1990, are infamous for their ‘raw-power’ aggressive revelations, notably hyper artillery fast drumming and violent guitar electrocution, a treat for the extreme metal fans. The band has toured extensively over Europe/US/Mexico/Japan/Asia over the years playing numerous big stages both as Headliners and as support to notable acts. The official IMPIETY Discography consists of 8 full albums, 9 singles and a total of 24 releases. They are the most prominent carriers of the extreme metal genre from Asia for more than 2 decades now.
Dying Out Flame ( Vedic Death Metal from Kathmandu, Nepal)
Formed in 2011, the band is known to create a variant feature of fierce Death Metal radiantly mixed with the ancient Hindus Mythologies, raags and chants with great dexterity and agility. After playing the biggest stages in the Nepalese underground metal scene for years, they emerged as the death metal frontiers from their country. Their global prominence was marked when in July this year, they released their full length “Shiva Rudrastaskam” and got signed by the prestigious Xtreem Records from Spain for a worldwide release.
Black Metal from (New Delhi)
Formed in 2005, 1833 AD has been the most renowned name since the early years of the metal in Delhi. In 2012, they released their full length “My Dark Symphony” which received abundant acclaim from all over, and since then they have played internationally, also playing at big stages like the Bangalore Open Air and headlining various fests throughout the country. Their fresh approach to Black Metal makes them a name to reckon with in the Indian extreme music scene.
Stark Dental (Black Metal from Mumbai)
Formed in 2010, Stark Denial plays an exquisite war-themed black metal sound which has been raging loud in the frontiers of the Mumbai metal scene for quite some time now. With a huge number of shows in their courtyard, they are one of the most experienced acts to arise from that part of the country. Forerunners of the country’s premium annual black metal festival “Black Metal Krieg”, they have plans for a full-length release later on this year and will supposedly arouse the ears of many ardent extreme metal followers.
Fragarak (Technical Progressive Death Metal from New Delhi)
In a span of 2 years since 2012, the band started off with releasing their debut full-length “Crypts of Dissimulation” last year which bought them in the radar of the national scene with the immense critical acclaim for their sound. From then onwards, they have earned a slot in the reputed fests across India besides pulling off international shows at Kathmandu, Zhenjiang and Shanghai this year for the promotion of their release. Death metal with intricate technical playing and laced progressive melodies is what distinguishes the band, earning them an impressive name in the genre.
Winter Gate (Old-School Progressive Death Metal from Jaipur)
Formed in 2008, the band has come a long way with its unique blend of classic appealing Death Metal in roots transformed with haunting melancholies. Besides playing numerous stages in various parts of the country since its existence, it had also released its debut EP “DIsillumination” last year, and has plans for a full legth later this year. They are one of the icons of their sound from the lesser known western region of the country, and each of their performance has always delivered a consistent impact all these years.
