Background :
Pro Helvetia liaison office of the Swiss Arts Council in India cordially invites you to experience SOUND REASONS III - a festival ofsound art, contemporary jazz and electronic music. Pro Helvetia initiates, supports and presents projects that reflect the multicultural character of Switzerland and India. It supports Swiss artists seeking dialogue with other cultures - the focus is on quality and originality, on mutuality and respect to ensure that both sides benefit from the exchange.With performances and installations the line-up this year is a very interesting one. The festival lasts from 31st October to 6th November 2014 at 24 Jor Bagh, Alliance Française de Delhi and Social, Hauz Khas Village.
The festival will present eminent musicians from across the globe - Marcus Maeder, diatribes, Senking, Thomas Peter, Feldermelder, diFfuSed beats, Salomé Voegelin, Timo Kahlen, Sava Boyadzhiev and Farah Mulla to name a few.
The festival is being presented in collaboration with Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Delhi, Pro Helvetia - Swiss Arts Council, Alliance Française de Delhi, Gujral Foundation, Danish Art Foundation.
