Event Description : "Awakening" a colossal installation of Lord Hanuman erected using 26,500 bells by Charuvi Design Labs.

Self awareness is blissful, it brings contentment and takes one to supreme stage of consciousness and this state is the light. Illuminated like mighty Hanuman who is symbol of power and loyalty, a true warrior and a devotee; submissive yet free; epitome of hope and aware of his soul; thus he is worshipped and followed and therefore is eternal.
On the occasion of Diwali, CDL brings you thousands of bells which carry a conviction, that the key to harmony in this world is harmony in one’s relationship with oneself.
Inspired by hanuman’s ceaseless magnificence, valor and beauty, a gigantic installation is erected using 26500 bells signifying the invocation of sanctity. Ringing bells is considered auspicious as it brings virtuous and noble forces inside and departs the demonic and evil forces from within and without. The golden bells are the metaphor of radiance and calmness, akin to the aura of the Chiranjeevi.
Ingeniously crafted figurines of characters from the internationally acclaimed film Shri Hanuman Chalisa in 3D will be on display alongside a film on the making of this unprecedented work of animation art from India.
The exhibit also features intricately hand-painted narratives on the traditional kavad — a mobile, interactive shrine traditionally carried from village to village, and rendered in songs of faith.
 This exhibition demonstrates rise of the legend in an interactive and engaging manner giving you a panoramic and awe –inspiring vista which possibly will espouse you to ‘Awakening’.

About Charuvi Agrawal
CEO/Director of CDL
 With a background in both fine arts and animation, Charuvi has become a leading young female entrepreneur in the animation industry. She is an accomplished animator, award winning artist and the founder of Charuvi Design Labs. Her 3D stereoscopic film Shrihanuman Chalisa gathered many accolades across Asia. She has been a speaker at India Design Forum 2013, Siggraph 2008 Computer Animation Festival (California), Anifest and Google.
Her work has earned prestigious awards in about 100+ International film festivals including FICCI BAF Animated Short Film - Professional award, 6th Jaipur International Film Festival, Jaipur (India) - 2014 and Orbit Live - Industry Honours 2014 (INDIA). She has an astonishing ability to tackle various facets of film making and artworks with a unique style and treatment.
 Charuvi is currently handling her studio CDL which is a unique lab that designs not only animated content, but interactive and innovative media installations, applications and games.
