Event Description : Cineaste presents 'Between The Lines - Redefined' a hinglish comedy play.

Synopsis : Between the lines-Redefined is an extension of the phrase which means subtext underlying,and tries to simplify the reason for behavioral aspects of human being. the play depicts how individuals surrounds themselves with an envelope of illusion to justify their actions even though they are contradictory to one's own nature.

1st story begins with the conflict of characters and confront the writer of their tragedies & misrepresentation. This conflict of reality & projection is carry forwarded in 2nd story of the play which emphasizes about the creation of virtual world to ignore the realities so that the face off can be avoided. The journey begins on a hilarious note when announcer comes on stage, annoyed with the so called illusionary method of theatre. Subsequently, the myth of life is being created by the actors emulating a train journey. Everything goes as per the "script" till "Death" enters the stage!

The play is a comic drama which has more than just words to read Between The Lines!
