It will be performed by the artists from the theatre group formed by Mr. Lokesh Jain, named "Mandala - The Magic Circle".
“Bhigey bhigey se pal” deals with the situation of the women in today’s modern world of global capitalism. Millions of women are abused in the houses, working places, institutions and streets everyday in our society. Degraded treated like commodities, glossy billboards. portrait as high heels fashionable sexual objects, entertaining our shallow and mediocre society. Kidnapped, raped, murdered, early marriages are the paid news and soap operas Women are owned and controlled as ornaments and properties but not as human beings.
It’s only the matter of feminism or power of our social structure?
Orthodox system deals with her as the “slave of the slaves”.
Manuvadi society Treat her like as “Devil’s Gateway”.
In the primitive society there was no domination or degradation of women by men, or men by men. Concept of mother or male mother exists. Patriarchal hierarchies create this division, discrimination, oppression.
“Bhigey Bhigey Se Pal” is a journey of seven women living as a paying guest in the glittering shining metro city. Dreams……… desires……….pains……sorrows..….. love……….affection………. existence of being search with the conflict of life and spontaneity happens with the magical moments of the time.
Dialogue through the character explores the multiple complexities through narrative or non narrative metaphoric ways. Images evolve the silence of the script with the audience. There is also non linear poetic aspect of the play which creates the space of imagination of timeless imagery; it’s like a collage, mural, sculptor of dreams.
