Event Description : As you are aware Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (VYK) is one of the pioneering NGOs in India actively involved in empowering youth of our country. The Indian Youth Centres Trust, set up on 10 August 1961 established Vishwa Yuvak Kendra (VYK), with the vision to develop youth work in the country on scientific lines and to provide training on continuous basis in youth work aimed towards nation building. VYK, through its various activities and training, provides wide-ranging opportunities to youth for constructive participation in the larger arena of community life and in political and social life.

We regularly organize cultural, educational and motivational programmes for large groups (a gathering of 300-400 youth) from underprivileged section of the society. These programmes help the youth to develop a sense of socio-cultural awareness, democratic values, team spirit, and decision making skills, which are essential for their overall development.

It has been observed that motivational talks and interaction with influential personalities has a stimulating effect on the youth, as it guides and motivates them in decision making. Through our programme, “Talk with Amazing Indians”, we aim to provide an opportunity to interact with courageous and path breaking individuals, who, as a result of their perseverance and innovative ideas, have managed to overcome all odds, and have managed to make a difference in their life as well as in the community. This is the second programme in the series of “Talk with Amazing Indians”.The endeavours of these courageous people have been documented by Times Now, India’s No.1 English News Channel in their programme “Amazing Indians”. 

During the programme youth will get opportunity to interact with Amazing Indians who have made significant contribution in the field of Education and Rural development.  We are sending a copy of the programme schedule for your perusal.
