Event Description : 'So Heddan So Hoddan' a film by Anjali Monteiro and K. P. Jayasankar.

Mustafa Jatt sings Bheths, narratives of longing, sung by the Jatts, pastoral Muslim communities that live on the edge of the Great Rann of Kutch, in Gujarat, separating India and Pakistan. The Film is a journey into the music and everyday life of these communities, set against the backdrop of the Rann and the pastoral Banni grass lands. These marginal visions of negotiating difference in creative affirmative ways resist tight notions of the nation - state and national culture and open up the windows of our national imaginary.
