Event Description : Discovery Tour : Heritage Transport Museum
Children will explore the country’s first transport museum, and will learn about the evolution of transport in India over the last eight decades through its unique collection. Laid out on international standards the museum showcases a mix of pre-modern and modern transports – right from howdahs, bullock carts, palanquins, to motorized vehicles of different makes and kinds including vintage cars. And to give it a local flavour, kids will see ‘jugaad’ transport contraptions such as chakda and phatphat.
