Event Description : “Constructing the Future”: Symposium on Architecture, Design and Engineering.
Experts from Switzerland and India – like Andrea Deplazes, Alfredo Brillembourg, Emanuel Christ, Ariel Huber, Ashok B. Lall, Aromar Revi, Matias Echanove and Rahul Srivastava, Zeenat Niazi, Meret Ernst and Itu Chaudhuri, among others – will participate in debates and presentations on topics ranging from sustainable construction, energy efficient buildings, affordable eco-housing and urbanization in megacities to a new deontology for planning and building cities as well as collective identity through design.

The symposium is aimed at increasing exchanges and collaborations between Switzerland and India as well as pushing the reflections in these fields further. Participation is open to Architects, Urban Planners, Designers, Engineers, Builders, Artists, Scholars, Students and the general audience as well.
