Event Description : Hanging at Hauz Khas –Walk 1 as part of Know your city walks by Beyond Delhi
Hauz Khas village is on the must-see list of every Delhi visitor with its funky shops, cafes, workshops, designer boutiques and restaurants.Wrapped inside the bright packaging are  crumbling remains of history that this tour engages with. And as we do we also take in the alternate creative vista that the little lanes and bylanes of this hub offer.
Our walk is directed to make this pocket of the city alive and interesting for our children. For this purpose we have included activities as we walk around this precinct that will allow them to engage with stories written in stone. We will use maps, stories, trivia and games woven around Hauz Khas to make the walk exciting for the children.
Some of the places we visit as we walk down Hauz Khas include Dadi-Poti Gumbad, Sakri gumti, Baradari, Tohfewala Gumbad, Kali gumti, Jagannath temple, Hauz-e- Alai, Munda Gumbad, Deer Park  and Firoz Shah’s Tomb and Madrasa to name a few.
