Event Description : Group Show organized by David Szanton, who has established a School of Mithila Art in Madhubani.
A new generation of Mithila Painters has arrived, still true to the style of painting, but with a vastly expanded contemporary repertoire that now includes powerful critiques of social, political, and especially feminist issues.  The first ever exhibition of these stunning
new paintings in New Delhi.
Senior Mithila Artist Smt. Dulari Bai will be painting a Mural in the gallery during the exhibition.
