Event Description : Adivasi Sanskriti Sangam.
Started in 2011, Adivasi Sanskriti Sangam, an attempt to highlight the tribal culture at national level and discuss issues affecting their life and society, is being organised in the premises of Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat during the Birsa Fortnight (November 15 – 30th) from 28th to 30th November, 2012. The event will see a congregation of forest communities living in distant forests and hills. More than 20 tribal teams from different parts of the country will participate, perform their cultural activities in their traditional dresses and engage in discussing the issues affecting their lives in their own society. They will be accompanied by tribal organisations, intellectuals, social workers and writers working for the cause of the tribals.

05.30 pm: Cultural Performance by participating groups at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat
29th November
11.00 am to 05.00 pm: Jan Sansad (Challenges before the Adivasi survival)
