Event Details : The Gati Dance Forum presents 'Movement Skills and Creative Expression' a Summer Workshop for children by Mehneer Sudan.

Designed for 10-15 year olds, this 10-session workshop will focus on enabling young people
to explore movement in the body, responding to stimuli like music, text and objects. Using
contemporary dance and jazz techniques, this fun and interactive workshop will guide its
participants to develop skills in expressing ideas through movement. No prior dance experience
required!

Mehneer Sudan, a former member of The Danceworx Performing Arts Academy, is trained in
contemporary dance, jazz, modern, ballet and Kathak. After studying at the Northern School of
Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK, she has taught Dance and Movement at The British School,
Delhi, for many years.
