Based on a newly revised edition of the speaker’s provocative book, When China Rules the World, which argues that China’s economic growth combined with its inheritance of Confucian values that prioritize order and stability in society and in relations with tributary states herald an era when a distinctively Chinese modernity will dominate the world.
